The Griddle Stitch is a very pretty and easy crochet stitch. It uses only single crochets (sc) and double crochets (dc). These stitches are worked alternately which gives a lovely bulk and texture.
Cotton yarns are always the best choice to make a Crochet Potholder. Cotton yarn makes the potholder easily washable and durable. They also make a potholder that will not melt when under higher temperatures.
