She began crocheting during long hospital stays while living with Crohn’s disease, and over time, crochet became a source of comfort and accomplishment for her. In 2012, she started YARNutopia as a small shop to sell her handmade creations. A portion of every sale supports research for inflammatory bowel disease—something close to her heart. Nadia continues to share her love for crochet through her patterns and inspiring story.
Kinga is the designer and blogger behind My Hobby is Crochet. She lives in Germany with her husband and their three children and has been sharing her love of crochet online since 2012. What started as a Facebook page to share her work and favorite patterns grew into a blog in 2013, where she now posts free patterns, tutorials, and project ideas.
