Clare is the creator behind BobWilson123, a popular YouTube channel known for helpful and easy-to-follow crochet tutorials. She’s originally from England, but now lives in Sydney, Australia with her family. The name BobWilson123 comes from her beloved dog Bob, the volleyball from Cast Away, and a random number—and yes, she says she would’ve picked something different if she knew how many people would remember her for crochet!
Clare learned to crochet in 2001 and has been teaching others through her YouTube channel for years. Crochet is now her full-time job, and she works over 60 hours a week making videos, writing patterns, and supporting her online community.
Her success didn’t happen overnight—it took years of dedication, passion, and hard work. Clare is proud to teach crochet for a living and loves every second of what she does.
