Crochet cables are a beautiful way to add texture to your crochet projects.

This quick and easy Braided Cable Stitch Blanket is a cinch to crochet. I just love the texture of this crochet stitch. The pattern is made in mostly single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc) and front post treble crochet stitches (FPtr).  I’ve also demonstrated how to use the straight edge turning chain in place of a chain 2 and I think you are going to love it!

In case you need additional help, I’ve included a detailed step-by-step photo tutorial and a video tutorial for this project.

This blanket would make exquisite gift for family and friends for any occasion.

Materials Used:
8 Ply Cotton Yarn
4 mm (G) Crochet Hook

Size:
30 inches

This pretty cable stitch blanket is customizable to any size. The crochet pattern stitch is worked on a multiple of 6 + 7 chains.
