Four Petal Flower Afghan Square Pattern and Tutorial

Part of the Crochet a Block Blanket CAL, this Four Petal Flower Square was made with 4 colors of Worsted Weight Yarn [4] and a 4 mm (G) crochet hook. The finished square measures 9 inches X 9 inches in size when complete.

This afghan square is made with simple crochet stitches, minimal shaping and finishing.

The stitches used to create the square include:

• chain – ch
• slip stitch – sl st
• single crochet – sc
• half double crochet – hdc
• double crochet – dc
• double crochet 2 together (decrease) – dc2tog
• double crochet 3 together (decrease) – dc3tog
