How to Crochet the Modern Rose Blanket Pattern
The baby blanket is made up of 6 inch square motifs that are assembled into the final crocheted afghan.
The baby size blanket is pictured and when complete measures 36 inches X 36 inches in size.
Instructions and estimated yardages are provided for 5 different blanket sizes. A pattern chart (stitch diagram) for the 6 inch squares is also available.
The 6 inch blocks are worked in spiral rounds before the 3D spiral is crocheted into the existing spiral base. When assembling the project the mattress stitch was used and a simple main color edging was added to the finished blanket. This is a bright and colorful blanket with fun texture created by the 3D spiral roses.
For this project you will need Worsted Weight Yarn [4] and a 5.5 mm (I) crochet hook.
