This pretty Royal Bag is available as a free crochet pattern from Regina P Designs. This unique bag is created using Regina’s Royal Stitch pattern.
Crochet the Royal Bag with this Free Pattern
The crocheted bag is worked by creating the strap first, then continuing down towards the bottom of the bag with the special stitch, before creating the base of the bag and then seaming the bottom shut.
The project was crocheted with Medium Weight Cotton Yarn [4] and a 5 mm (H) crochet hook. The finished bag should measure approximately 8.5″ strap drop length, 13″ opening width, 14″ center width, and 11″ depth (minus strap).
This pattern includes written instructions for adapting the strap length, as well as, a link to a private video that demonstrates the unique stitch used to make the Royal Bag.
