Spiked Sedge Stitch Blanket Pattern

Crochet Blankets are fun and easy projects. There are lots of different stitches you can use to make a unique and textured blanket.

Today, I’m going to show you how to make a crocheted Spiked Sedge Stitch Blanket.

This stitch looks complicated, but it is actually pretty easy and it’s reversible, so it can be used for lots of projects.

The stitch is similar to the Sedge Stitch, but the last Double Crochet is made in the stitch from the row below. You just need to know some basics like Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, and Double Crochet.

  • 8 Ply Cake Yarn
  • 4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:

  • 38 inches- Customizable to any size
