I love making crochet scarves for winter. They are quick projects that you can easily complete in a day. Crochet scarves are also a great beginner crochet project.

Free Crochet Pattern: Easy Cool Ocean Crochet Scarf.

I used cake yarn with shades of blue which reminded me of the calming ocean, hence the name Cool Ocean Crochet Scarf. This scarf has a beautiful and rich texture which is made with combining front post and back post double crochet stitches. A awesome feature of this scarf is that it is reversible. Both the sides of the scarf look pretty.

The size of this scarf can be customized according to your choice. You can easily start with any number of stitches you want and finish off after reaching the required size needed. You can make them as regular style scarf with free ends or make them little longer and join both the ends to make them into infinity scarf to wrap around your neck twice. Add fringe or tassels to the ends to make them more pretty.

Materials Used:
Cake Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:
10 inches wide X 45 inches long;  can be customized to any size.
