Where to Find Vintage Crochet Patterns

I love vintage crochet patterns and I love browsing through old issues of magazines like The Workbasket. If you want to find an old crochet pattern and you don’t mind having a free copy (rather than the original paper one), there are thousands of free crochet patterns available online and in the public domain.

So before you go to Ebay or Etsy to purchase a PDF copy of an old pattern I recommend you go to one of these sites to take a look. My favorite place to look first is the Antique Pattern Library. They have one of the best collections of free vintage patterns and instructions available.
