I love vintage crochet patterns and I love browsing through old issues of magazines like The Workbasket. If you want to find an old crochet pattern and you don’t mind having a free copy (rather than the original paper one), there are thousands of patterns available online and in the public domain.

So before you go to Ebay or Etsy to purchase a PDF copy of an old pattern I recommend you go to one of these sites to take a look. My favorite place to look first is the Antique Pattern Library.
