How to Crochet the Jacob’s Ladder Stitch

The Jacob’s Ladder Crochet Stitch is very easy to crochet. It is created by working a series of chain loops between sections of double crochet stitches (dc).

The loops are left unworked until the end of the project. They are then threaded into each other beginning at the very bottom chain loop and moving toward the top for the columns of jacob’s ladders.  The Jacob’s ladders are held together by working a row of stitches through the final loop of each vertical column. It’s a nice technique to use to create a texture and even though it looks super complicated it isn’t!
