How to Crochet the Chain Stitch Ring
- Leave a 4 to 6 inch yarn tail and chain 2, 3, 4 chains to start (2=single crochet, 3=half double crochet and double crochet, 4=treble crochet).
- Follow Round 1 of the pattern working the stitches into the chain furthest from your hook.
- Turn your project over and sew in the yarn tail to tighten and close the chain stitch ring.
- Follow the rest of the pattern as written.
