How to Crochet the Treble Crochet Stitch (tr)

The US Crochet Term is treble (tr) and the UK Crochet Term is double treble (dtr).

  1. Yarn over hook 2 times
  2. Insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over hook
  3. Pull up 1 loop, yarn over hook
  4. Pull through 2 loops, yarn over hook
  5. Pull through 2 loops, yarn over hook
  6. Pull through the last 2 loops to complete the stitch

Yarn over hook 2 times, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up 1 loop. *Yarn over and pull through 2 loops**. Work from * to ** 3 times total.
