To make the 7 inch Mini Giraffe you will need Cotton Sport Weight Yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. If you’d like to make a larger version (16 inch Giraffe) you can use Chenille Super Bulky Yarn and a 5 mm (H) crochet hook.
This project is perfect for gifting! The long narrow neck of the giraffe makes this a fantastic handmade toy for babies and small children. TIP: You may want to substitute hand-sewn eyes for safety for the little ones.
