6-Day Star Blanket Crochet Pattern by Betty McKnit

Before you begin, please note that the “6-DAY” part of the blanket depends upon on how quickly you can crochet, how much time you can dedicate to crocheting over that time period and the size blanket you decide to crochet.

The 6 Day Star Blanket (7 Points)

  • The pattern is written in US Crochet terms.
  • This pattern is an EASY level pattern and as written makes a lovey sized blanket after 12 rounds.
  • You can choose your favorite yarns to use for this project.
  • The approximate yardages have been provided to make a baby sized blanket (40 inches) and a throw sized blanket (60 inches) using either DK Weight Yarn or Worsted Weight Yarn.
  • Use the hook size on your yarn label, or a size or 2 larger (if you blanket starts to curl).
  • The pattern uses simple stitches: single crochet, double crochet, cluster stitches made using dc2tog and dc3tog and reverse single crochet (crab stitch) for the edging.
