Square Crochet Potholder Pattern Video

Are you looking for a simple square potholder for your kitchen? This easy textured pot-holder crochet pattern would be an excellent choice.

Crocheted Potholders are an easy way to spruce up a kitchen. They are both decorative and functional.

Potholders are also called hot-pads and trivets. These pot-holders would make lovely housewarming gifts too!

This pattern uses a combination of Single Crochet (sc) and Double Crochet (dc) Cluster stitches (cl) that are worked in one stitch to create a pretty elegant textured design.

Along with the video tutorial included for this free pattern, there is also a step-by-step photo tutorial available.

Materials Used:
This potholder pattern was crocheted with 8-Ply Cotton Yarn and a 4 mm (G) crochet hook.

Size:
This potholder pattern makes a 11 inches X 11 inches square project but it can be easily customized to other sizes.

This pretty textured stitch would also create a lovely afghan square or crochet baby blanket. You can use any color of yarn for this project but if you are making a hotpad it is recommended that you use cotton.
